O Geekoito It's a Brazilian technology website, online since 2024. We publish guides and reviews about mobile applications — what each category actually does, what the limitations of each tool are, and what the device's own system already handles without installing anything.
Who writes
The website content is written and edited by Ricardo Sanches, We are responsible for the publication. We are not a newsroom: it's an editorial project run by one person, and we prefer to say that rather than suggest a team that doesn't exist.
Geekoito is maintained by SpotAds (spotads.me).
How we gather information about applications.
This is the part that is usually missing from websites of this kind, so it's worth being specific:
- We only mention apps that are in the official store. — Google Play or App Store. We do not recommend installing via third-party APK files.
- The rating and number of downloads come from the store's listing., These figures are accurate as of the date of publication or last revision. These numbers change over time; if you find a discrepancy, the store's data is the one that counts.
- Features and prices change without notice. We describe what the application was doing when the text was written.
- We haven't tested all the apps mentioned. When the information comes from the developer's description or official documentation, the text states this.
- We don't publish promises that technology can't keep. When an entire category promises something impossible, the text explains why it's impossible instead of repeating the promise.
How the site sustains itself
Geekoito is free for the reader and is maintained with advertising. The ad units are identified with the label “Advertisement” and are provided by third-party networks — meaning we do not individually choose each ad displayed.
The choice of what we publish and the opinions expressed in the texts are not negotiated with advertisers.
What we don't do
- We are not an app store and we do not distribute any software.
- We have no affiliation with the developers of the applications mentioned.
- We do not provide technical support for third-party applications, nor do we resolve account, billing, or refund issues.
- We do not publish content that encourages monitoring another person's device without their knowledge.
Corrections
If you find an error, an app that's been removed from the store, or outdated information, write to contato@geekoito.com. We make corrections, and when the correction changes the meaning of the text, we record the change.
